Code of Conduct
The principles of our Code of Conduct are:
- Child Labor
We do not permit children under the age of 15 to work in any business that produces our goods.
- Forced Labor
We reject every form of forced labour. All employment must be voluntary.
- Disciplinary measures
We will not tolerate any form of physical, psychological and verbal punishment and coercion.
- Discrimination
We do not tolerate discrimination on the basis of ethnicity, nationality, race, political belief, religion, gender, sexual orientation or age, which is unrelated to one`s ability to perform the relevant job.
- Working Hours
We expect to maintain a system of working hours in compliance with national and local laws. All overtime work must be compensated.
- Pay
We expect to comply with all legal minimum wages. The wages must be paid out in accordance with customary local procedures. Unjustified wage deductions and deductions as a disciplinary measure are not permissible.
- Health and Safety
We expect to provide a safe and hygienic work environment for all the employees in order to prevent risks to health. Regulations and procedures for safety at work must be introduced and observed. Where housing is provided, it must also be according to safety and hygienic standards.
- Freedom of association
Freedom of association should be given.
- Legal Requirements
We expect to comply with all applicable national and local laws and regulations. Where these standards conflict with other standards, we expect to uphold the most stringent standard.
- Information Obligation
We commit our producers to make this Code of Conduct freely accessible to all employees and must be available for inspection in comprehensible form in the country's official language.
